The Inaugural Show: A Century in American Art

Lincoln Glenn is proud to invite you to its inaugural exhibition at 126 Larchmont Ave. This first exhibition will be a sample of the gallery's inventory, representing over 100 years of American art history from the Hudson River School in the 19th century to the Abstract Expressionists of the 1970s. Highlights in the show include a trio of paintings by Sally Michel Avery, a pair of Norman Bluhm paintings, and an early Mercedes Matter example.

The majority of our future exhibitons will focus on either specific artists or art movements. These surveys will change every couple of months beginning in September with our solo exhibition for Abstract Expressionist and Color Field painter Sherron Francis, whose Revlon Rise painting in the current show previews our fall program.
