Louise Williams Jackson (1872–1946) was an American painter and member of both the Copley Society of Art and the Guild of Boston Artists. Born in Newton, Massachusetts, she spent part of her childhood in Minnesota before returning east to continue her artistic education at the School of Drawing and Painting of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. While studying abroad, she worked under James Abbott McNeill Whistler in Paris, an experience that left a lasting impression on her practice and inspired her 1900 article, "Mr. Whistler as a Teacher," published in Brush and Pencil. Jackson exhibited regularly throughout her career, earning an honorable mention at the Boston Art Club in 1908 and a solo exhibition at the Fogg Museum in 1928. She maintained a dedicated artistic practice throughout her life, painting portraits for family and friends while living in the family's Cambridge Studio House and traveling extensively throughout Europe with fellow artist Bernice Brown-Cronkhite and her siblings.

Jackson exhibited "The Silver Mirror" at the Boston Art Club’s Seventy-Ninth Exhibition in 1909.
